Support & Training is available upon request throughout the Academic Year from the Society President & Vice President.
Technical Training Sessions are organised to provide the Committee with the comprehensive skillset they set in order to operate Screenings independently including (but not limited to):

- Cinema Projection & Sound - Calibration / Display Sources / Performing Standardised Sound/Visual Tests and maintenance.
- QLab Training -
- Including Film Sourcing,
- Licensing,
- Codecs,
- Physical/Digital File Handling
- Converting Files
- QLab Ingestion & Organising Files on the System
- Ordering Files in a Playlist
- Setting up a Show & Cues
- Automation
- Front of House (FOH) & Hospitality Training
- Multicam Recording/Switching - In Auditorium, Interface to record Q&As and Workshops etc..
- Live Event & Venue Management, Using Microphones and Lighting / Mic Handling with Audiences / Sound Desk etc.

Technical Training is run in October after Freshers Fair, extra sessions in Semester 1 available upon request.
A re-cap/introduction for people who could not make the last session is available in early January and then after the Spring Break.
